The specific problems people actually hit, and what to do about each.

The browser never asked for permission

Browsers wait for a real interaction, so the prompt appears when you press Record, not when the page loads. If pressing Record does nothing, the site is probably already blocked: open the padlock in the address bar, allow the microphone, then reload.

Permission is granted but nothing is recorded

Usually the wrong input device. Check which microphone the browser is using in the padlock menu, and check the system volume and any hardware mute switch. Disconnect headsets and virtual audio devices you are not using, then reload.

Another app is using the microphone

Meeting apps and streaming software can hold the device exclusively. Close them and press Record again. You do not need to reload.

The score says it did not hear you

That message appears when the recording contains no detectable speech at all, rather than a quiet or imperfect one. Check the input is the microphone you think it is, then try again a little closer to it.

Export failed

Your recordings are safe. Export never touches them. Try again, and if it keeps failing the site falls back to exporting audio only, which works in browsers where video encoding does not.

Every pack page has the full script and the scene video. You can read and watch without a microphone at all.
